I’m very excited to currently have a painting on show at Gallery1988 in their Bill Murray tribute exhibition titled “Please Post Bills”. The show opened on November 3rd and runs until the November 26th. My piece has been inspired by Bill’s performance in the 1993 classic, Groundhog Day and I was over he moon to find out that it sold on the opening night!

I Want My Music Video Art Show

I am delighted to currently have a painting in the “I Want My Music Video Art Show” at Gallery Meltdown, Hollywood, USA. The show has been curated by the MTV VMA winning director Chris Marrs Piliero and the art genius Dave MacDowell. It features work from 100 awesome artists all paying homage to the music video art form.

My own piece has been inspired by the videos of Rob Zombie and is a mash-up of “Never Gonna Stop (The Red Red Kroovy)”, “Dragula” and “Return of the Phantom Stranger”, which I’ve titled “The Kroovy Droogs”. I was thrilled to find out it was purchased at the opening reception! The exhibition opened on the 7th of October and runs until the 20th, so if you live in the LA area you still have a few days to head down and check it out!

Garbage Pail Kids x G1988

I am well chuffed to currently have a painting in the “Garbage Pail Kids x Gallery1988″ exhibition at G1988 in Melrose, LA. Over 100 amazing artists have been asked to reinterpret their favourite Garbage Pail Kid from any of the original series. For those of you who don’t remember the GPK phenomenon, they were the brain child of Art Spiegelman in the mid ninteen eighties, who came up with the idea to parody the range of Cabbage Patch Kids dolls which were extremely popular at the time. Garbage Pail Kids were sold as a pack of 5 trading cards, each new card being more sick, gross and twisted than the one before. Collecting the cards became a huge craze and they ended up being banned from many schools throughout the world.

I chose to do my own version of Undead Jed and was delighted to find out he sold on the opening weekend!
