Back in 2011 I participated in the Bill Murray tribute exhibition ‘Please Post Bills,’ held at Gallery1988. I’m now delighted to announce that G1988 have recently released a limited edition giclee print of ‘There ain’t no hill or mountain we can’t climb,’ the Groundhog Day inspired painting that I produced for the show.

The print is 16” x 12” and is a limited edition of 35, all numbered and signed by myself.

Fragments & Phantoms

‘Fragments & Phantoms‘, my solo exhibition at Subtext Gallery in San Diego opened last weekend. Before I go any further, I just want to thank Dylan and Don for all the hard work they’ve put in organising everything and hanging the show so beautifully. I also want to say thank you to everybody who made the effort to head along and check it out, your support is most appreciated!

The first half of this year, I was holed up burning the midnight oil, in order to produce the work for this show and I’ve been really looking forward to the moment when I could share it with you all. This body of work continues to explore and expand on ideas evidenced in my previous efforts. I’ve taken many of the themes which interest me, such as identity, language, number, pop and subculture, myth, archetypes, etc. and looked at them through the lens of how these cultural phenomenons and languages shape the mystery that is our consciousness.

The show opened on July 14th and runs until August 31st, so there’s plenty time left to make the trip along to see it.

Faces

The mega talented artist Patrick Fatica has curated a fantastic exhibition titled ‘Faces‘ taking place at XL Gallery, in his home town, Orlando, Florida. He’s put together an outstanding ensemble of contemporary artists from across the globe and I am humbled to be taking part.

For the show, I have released a new limited edition giclee print of my Undead Jed painting. The printed area is 10” x 14” with a 1” border all round which brings the overall size up to 12” x 16”. It has been produced on 260gsm silk coated fine art paper using archival inks. The silk coating ensures the printed colours are very close to the original. The edition has been limited to 50 and all prints have been numbered, titled and signed by me. I will have number 1 of 50, framed up for the exhibition and all other prints will be for sale through my online store.

The exhibition opened on June 30th and runs until July 28th.
